Located in the historical center of Lima, Perú, Escuelab offers a residency program to young artists, creators and activists from Latin America, in particular from the Andean region, Central America and the Caribbean. The program hosts annually up to 10 participants as scholarship holders for a period of 11 months, offering an interdisciplinary formation with the possibility of developing an own project.

Women around the world are invited to submit non-fiction essays on the topic of "holding hands," for publication in the upcoming issue of World Pulse, a magazine that tells of global issues through the eys of women. Works will also be published online, and the top three stories will receive US$100. Deadline: June 4.
World Pulse invites writers to tell a story about "holding hands," which might explore themes of mentorship, connection, taboo, solidarity, violence, relationships, sensuality, family, love, friendship, healing, bridging difference, or anything in between. Armory Center for the Arts Teaching Artist Fellowship
The Armory Center for the Arts is seeking visual artists to participate in nine-month Teaching Artist training and teaching program.
Learn to teach children ages 6-17 through gallery tours and hands-on art making workshops dealing with interactive educational techniques in a contemporary art context.
The Fellows participate in a series of training sessions throughout the first three months, which emphasize interactive methods and idea-based teaching processes. Fellows also receive one-on-one guidance and mentoring by experienced artists as they learn about and assist in other Armory programs.

This year as part of Sonic Vigil V the annual sound art event held in Cork Ireland and curated by The Quiet Club we are issuing an OPEN CALL for sound works in all its various forms. All works submitted will be presented in four especially designed “Sound Stations” and available to be heard for the duration of the festival. The “Sound Stations” have been designed by students of Cork School of Architecture and fabricated by the National Sculpture Factory.
