The ECF Art Center Programs nurture 135 gifted, adult artists with
varying degrees of disabilities. We are seeking an experienced,
full-time Fine Art Representative. Our artists have had their works
exhibited at the Smithsonian Gallery, the John F. Kennedy Center in
Washington, DC. and locally. You can visit our website at

The Fine Art Representative will promote and sell the artwork of ECF
artists, utilizing market analysis techniques to develop leads for
potential sales to art collectors, interior designers, builders,
businesses and individuals in need of artwork. The Fine Art
Representative will earn a salary plus 20% commission sold on products
to outside customers.

The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) in downtown Long Beach seeks a Part-Time Visitor Services Associate to provide customer service to MOLAA's visitors. This position offers 15-20 hours per week, must be available Thursdays 4:00p to 9:00pm, Saturdays and Sundays.
Essential Functions
• Welcome visitors to the museum in a friendly and hospitable manner.
• Provide exceptional customer service and works with other museum staff to ensure a well coordinated and positive visitor experience.
• Answer phones and processes phone reservations in a timely and accurate manner.
• Answer general museum questions, book group visits, school tours and market museum services and programs to incoming callers and visitors.
• Initiate and complete all sale transactions with visitors.
The Keyholder Residency Program offers emerging artists with FREE year-long studio residencies to develop new work and foster their artistic careers. The application deadline is Saturday, September 1, 2012 for residencies that begin on October 1, 2012. Printmaking facilities are available for intaglio, relief, monoprint, waterbased silkscreen, digital processes, and other techniques that employ the tools at hand.
Keyholders work independently in the Printshop’s shared Artists’ Studio and have access to a vibrant community of peers. Artists from all disciplines are eligible to apply; printmaking skills are not required, but some familiarity with the medium is recommended. Basic instruction in printmaking and some Master Printer assistance is included in the program.

Swing Space is a project-based residency program that places visual and
performing artists and arts groups in space for the development and
presentation of new projects. Since its launch in 2005, Swing Space has
placed over 1,000 artists in more than 20 different locations throughout
Lower Manhattan and on Governors Island all generously provided by the
Downtown real estate community and LMCC's programming partners. Swing Space
is designed to address short-term space needs for a wide range of projects
and to encourage creative, experimental, and collaborative approaches to
artistic practice in unconventional spaces.

viewers pay a few cents to watch pirated DVDs on television screens.
Located in the majority of villages and towns throughout Uganda, they are
the only form of popular visual entertainment and have a wider audience than
television and newspapers combined. Numbering in the thousands, these
