Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its March 2013 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Nature” and artists were asked to interpret the theme “Nature" by depicting the physical world. “Nature” was considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man.
An art competition was held in February 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 20 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 33 different states and the District of Columbia. Overall, there were 672 entries were judged for this art competition.

Since its inauguration in 2009, the Festival of (In)appropriation has emerged as a premiere international showcase of experimental found footage film and video, attracting the work of artists who probe the limits of collage, machinima, remix, détournement, mash-up and more.
Co-curated by Jaimie Baron, Lauren Berliner, and Greg Cohen, and sponsored by Los Angeles Filmforum, the Festival of (In)appropriation now invites submissions for its 5th edition, to take place in Los Angeles in November 2013.

bicycling in New York City, announces Am I Invisible? A Portrait of New
York City Bicyclists.
NOW THROUGH 03/07: an open call for photographs and photography-based art
that capture the spirit of bicyclists and the diversity and style they bring
to the streets of New York City. A portion of the entry fee ($30 for first
entry, $10 for each additional) will be donated to Transportation
Alternatives, New York’s leading transportation advocacy organization.

Spring 2013 Fellowship for Utopian Practice
Since 2012, Culture Push has supported six socially engaged projects that
explore diverse subjects, including food and empowerment; the practical
choreography of street protest; theater as a mode of philosophical inquiry;
reimagining the waterways of NYC; and re-envisioning abandoned space in the
Bronx.
The open call for the Spring 2013 Fellowship is now open. Artists and other
creative professionals are encouraged to apply with ideas for projects that
expand their practice beyond its traditional boundaries, are highly
interactive, and engage the public.
