AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Wallis Annenberg Center for the Performing Arts is currently under construction in Beverly Hills, CA with completion set for Summer 2013. The Annenberg seeks a full-time, year-round Accounting and Human Resources Assistant to assist with all aspects of Accounting/Finance, Human Resources, and general administration. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Accounts payable and petty cash; processing new hire and employee benefit paperwork; general office management; coordinating files, phones and mail/postage; all other general administration of said departments. The position reports to the Director of Finance.

Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the position will be responsible for developing and implementing the overall system of selling tickets and will manage ticketing operations once the center is open.

The King Juan Carlos I of Spain Center of New York University is pleased to announce the open call to participate in the second edition of Region 0 - The Latino Video Art Festival of New York, to be held on May 16-18, 2013 in New York City, United States.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery is pleased to announce that its March 2013 art exhibition is now posted on their website and is ready to view online. The theme for this art exhibition is “Nature” and artists were asked to interpret the theme “Nature" by depicting the physical world. “Nature” was considered to be anything that was not created by or has been substantially altered by man.

An art competition was held in February 2013 which determined and judged the art for this exhibition. The gallery received submissions from 20 different countries from around the world and they also received entries from 33 different states and the District of Columbia. Overall, there were 672 entries were judged for this art competition.

Light Space & Time Online Art Gallery announces an art call for the gallery’s 4th Annual “Abstracts” Juried Art Competition for the month of March 2013. The gallery invites all 2D artists (including photography) from around the world to make online submissions for inclusion in to the Gallery’s April 2013 online group art exhibition.

Light Space & Time encourages entries from artists regardless of where they reside and regardless of their experience or education in the art field to send us your best interpretation of the theme “Abstracts" by submitting their best non-representational abstract art for inclusion into the gallery’s April 2013 online Group Art Exhibition.
