The Torrance Theatre Company is presenting "Roald Dahl's Willy Wonka" this summer at the 500-seat Armstrong Theatre. The show opens on August 3 and runs through August 17. In conjunction with this production, we would like to temporarily exhibit artwork that fits the aesthetics of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as you may know it by its 1971 film adaptation or the more recent movie starring Johnny Depp. The production's look will have a slight steampunk edge, but the work does not have to be steampunk.
Two-dimensional work would be easiest to install, but I will consider small sculptures. There are 3 walls - 13' x 23'; 12'x18'; and 12'x10'. Works can be for sale, and information on the artists will be made available. No commission will be taken.

Application guidelines and criteria
I've been working with 12-13yr olds in a local school and they have written a survey to see “How music Has Changed Since the 1940’s”.
We would be grateful if you would click on the link and complete the survey.
http://frog.thomas-hardye.dorset.sch.uk/ltmusicsurvey
(it is fairly short)
It would also be really helpful if you could also circulate it to your contacts. We are not just looking for young people to complete this questionnaire, but people of all ages. The survey is about what music you listened to as a 13yr old. The students will be collecting the data and looking at ways to re-present their findings.
Many Thanks for your support in helping us collect as large a data set as possible from a large age range.
Best wishes,
Joe Stevens
