The Museum of Emotions https://www.museofemo.com/ is a One Year project that is online and interactive. It grows with submissions and engagement with the site and we are looking for new emotions!
Guidelines for submitting an emotion:
Submissions can be photographic, video based, audio, sculptural, edible, you name it. I accept any format for display - pano shots, triptychs, and multiple shots.
Submissions should be created to communicate an emotion. Texture may matter more to you than, say, composition. Or sound may be incorporated into your piece. You are welcome to share any story you like but please choose one emotion that your submission depicts. In one word.

The Bushwick Starr, in collaboration with Whitney White, invites US-based artists to submit work within the mediums of: video, design, photography, painting, drawing, and other visual forms, speaking to the themes of Black women's mental, physical, and sexual health. These pieces will accompany an installation production of DEFINITION by Whitney White to be held in summer of 2021 at the Mercury Store in New York City. This initiative is an effort to expand artistic opportunities limited by the COVID-19 pandemic.
Selected artists will receive an honorarium. Artists should feel free to submit previously created work, or respond with new work that defies genre boundaries, embraces the tenants of Afro-surrealism, and centers Black women's experience.
