The ”la Caixa” Foundation has opened its call for applications for Support for Creation ’22: Production, which aims to provide artists with funding and professional support to produce artwork. It is aimed at solo visual artists or groups of visual artists aged 18 or over, with Spanish or Portuguese nationality or residency, who already have a new project in mind or under way in collaboration with a third party (museum, gallery or other kind of art institution or platform) and who need support to produce a work of art.

The international nonprofit organization Faena Art announces the open call for the 2022 Faena Prize for the Arts. A biennial prize, the Faena Prize for the Arts recognizes artistic experimentation, encourages post-disciplinary and temporal exploration, and promotes inquiry of the multiple links between art, technology, and design. Considered one of the most prestigious art prizes in the Americas, Faena Art will award the winning proposal a total of 100,000 USD. The Fiminco Foundation has reinvested an old industrial building in Romainville, at the edge of Paris, to make it a place of resources for international artists. Each year, the Foundation hosts an 11-month residency for artists from around the world, in which they can develop their research and their work.

The aim of this proposal is to support the artists in residence throughout their creative process and to provide an accompaniement for their professional and artistic development, without any expected counterparties.
