Art16 will return to Olympia from Friday, May 20 to Sunday, May 22, with a preview day on Thursday, May 19 (by invitation only). Metrolinx invites professional artists to submit their credentials for consideration for the first stage of a competition for the upcoming Eglinton Crosstown Light Rail Transit (ECLRT) in Toronto, Canada.

The ECLRT will run 19 km across Eglinton Avenue between Mount Dennis (Weston Road) and Kennedy Station in Toronto. There will be 25 transit stations and stops in total, with the six intermodal stations—Mount Dennis, Caledonia, Allen, Eglinton (at Yonge), Science Centre (at Don Mills), and Kennedy—being the focus for the integrated art program. Station names are subject to change.

YARAT Contemporary Art Space is pleased to announce the launch of a renewed residency programme aimed at developing young Azerbaijani voices and emerging international artists with a focus on new, experimental practices. The residency programme is based at YARAT Studios, which has 11 spaces for artists. Residencies will occur three times a year, and each residency will last for a period of three months, as detailed below.
