The “Cultural Organization of the University of Amsterdam has classes and workshops in theater and dance as well as performance in both. There are also music nights. There is a large cafe/bar attached to the theater which makes this a cozy place to hang out. The theater is available for rent and is centrally located.

The Muiderpoort Theater is a lively neighborhood space with salsa dancing once a night and many youth programs. It is close to Oosterpark. It is an intimate and active community space with workshops and classes and student productions.
