All, right. So I have been a real delinquent with AMP. I haven't posted since August of last year! I most humbly apologize by offering up this terrific chance for all artists on AMP to participate in one great contest. Go to http://www.artallaround.com to find out about the international "Art All Around" contest in Maine. You never know... your artwork could be the next big beautifying bit since Guernica!
Since moving to Maine, I have been very busy becoming part of the creative economy. My 'zine, "Adventures for the Average Woman," is still alive and kickin' with new prose, poems, and paintings. Check out the new issue at www.ideagems.com.
In other news, my wonderful graphic novel. "Cube Ghouls," still featured on AMP may not have been updated as of late but it is becoming a full-length film. You can check out the story and the trailer at www.cubeghouls.com. (We even got a mention in the April 2008 issue of "MovieMaker Magazine" -- woo-hoo!) And now there is interest in possibly turning my inter-temporal mystery novel, "The Spoiler," into a movie. Then there's the documentary currently being filmed on my research into "kink" (which has become a course I teach at Tufts University). The creative snowball just keeps gathering steam!
So, lots has been happening on the artistic front for this humble AMP member. I only hope to find the time to keep up on AMP's goings-on!
Keep creative and live the artistic dream!
