AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Several months ago I had a project with UNHCR in Iran about Afghan refugee children.wow It was a great experience for me and unforgettable. Many artists and I went to the place where Afghan children lived there.
we tried to teach them how to show their passion with painting.
The name of this project was ''The Unheard Voices of Refugee Childern'' was the theme for world Refugee Day celebrations around the world,20''June 2007.
UNHCR-Iran helped refugee childern voice their individual stories, hopes and dreams through visual art and music.This was done with the assistance of Iranians artists and Afghan musicians.ManyIranian artists and I contributed to this event by teaching refugee childern how to make portraits and by contributing portratits and paintings on refugee childern toUNHCR for sale.Profits went towards funging street and labour refugee childern in Iran.I painted too for them and donated my painting to them.I took some photos that would like to share them with you.
