Medium: Wax Dye-resist (Batik) & white opaque wood stain on Wood.

This painting is an abstract interpretation of the wind, water and foliage entangled in a dance of the everflowing energies and movements found in nature. Technically I have purposely incorporate white wood stain color for the background in order to show the viewer a visual experience between the “opaque” (wood stain) and “transparent” (dyes) elements. The result thus also creates a visual stimulation effect of what is permanent/stagnant (the stained background) and what seems to be alive and moving thru the transparencies of the batiked image abstraction.
