AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Hi all. This is my first post on this great website-still exploring these resources-what I want to know is how do you (fellow musicians and artists) keep up with all the internet-based sites, finding and communicating with new artists, maintaining friendships, etc. If someone were to tell me 5 years ago that if you want to be a musician, you might want to like computers b/c you'd be spending 4 hrs + per day on them to keep connected, do booking, etc., I would have thought they were joking...I know it also saves time (e.g., EPKs instead of snail mail for press kits) too, but it is so hard to keep up, and write, and rehearse, etc. Love to hear your opinions!
