(Revised somewhat):
There are always certain givens that need not be explained. We all waste much too much time pursuing false objectives. Rapid identification creates its own attraction, energy and opportunity. To be sure, this invites danger, which continuously abounds, but where isn’t that the case?
Rather the freshness of inspiration than stuck under ever-misrepresented sludge.
For example:
Competition is built into every living cell in every living body. A primary foundation for successful evolution.
The challenge is not to eliminate competition but, rather, to channel it to mutual advantage. For every action, there’s always that inevitable reaction. And despite all the stories, both sides definitely need to be covered as much as possible.
At the core of our personal identification lies the competition between our physicality and our mentality. Primal awareness at the source of our very composition. Without the one, of course, there could not be the other (or at least, as we know it).
While all is in balance, eternity flows. But eternals are the most fickle of tricksters. Always avoiding full disclosure, to conjure up their latest devilish surprises. In fact, Eternity’s trade is simply to undermine the confidence of our particular perception. Much easier that way to find surviving heroes able to lay down succeeding pathways at crunch time (In any case, never trust Eternity to solve problems).
Any physical or mental imbalance affects their shared totality. Pride can easily be shed in the face of necessity. However, our inbred resistance to accommodation always hovers nearby – evolution endlessly seducing us with our own illusions.
So, if you can’t beat them...
Instinct vs. Experience. Timing, environment, and never forget Lady Luck, or the Joker, for that matter. Double zero vs. the jackpot. But how and where are the lines drawn?
In the end, it always comes down to intent. The freedom of evolution is determined by evolution. Yet, we are also offered our individual choices. Each instant is stuffed full of life altering decisions. Selection between physical and mental demands transforms personal infrastructures into patterns of behavior.
Here, atop the food chain, we get to pick which side we’re on far more often than any of us would like to admit. Folding complexity into simplicity creates the most intriguing of delectables to munch upon and spit out. So we spend our time weaving exotic carpets to dive under when the going gets rough.
