A profile of me written by Susan Rowland appears in the current BAC News. For those you not on the Brooklyn Arts Council’s mailing list, you can see a copy of the piece on their website:

I continue to have work (a painting and most of a shelf for artist’s books and catalogues) in the year long exhibition Travel at Proteus Gowanus in Brooklyn. If you are in New York and haven’t checked out this unique arts space yet, I’d advise you to take advantage of the ongoing events.

The virtual gallery Tiny Fine Art, appropriately enough to anyone familiar with my work, carries several of my pieces. They can be seen in real life at the Manhattan gallery Art at Large until April 1.

I am just back from a wonderful trip to St. Louis where Anne Treeger of the St. Louis Art Museum brought me out in conjunction with their exhibition Impressionist Camera: Pictorial Photography in Europe, 1888-1918. I discussed my work and taught sculptural artist’s book workshops for The Big Event and to the museum staff the following day. The Olin Library at Washington University also purchased Shadow of Descent, Reptiles, and Poggio Too for their rare books collection.

And please save the date for my upcoming solo painting exhibition at SafeT Gallery in DUMBO, Brooklyn. It opens Thursday, April 13 from 6-8pm. More later.
