This Week's Theme: Unorthodox Museums
Yesterday's site of the day, the Sound Museum, inspired me to look for museums which use another sense: touch. There were two which stood out. The first is the Please Touch Museum, the children's museum of Philadelphia. Their museum exhibitions are interactive and invite touch.

The second is the Perkins History Museum, "a multisensory journey through the history of blind and deafblind education over the last 200 years." (from their website)

If you're like me, and always have to fight the urge to touch the sculptures in the museum, these will come as a welcome relief.
