Nobody Reads This: Art Book Fair at the Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art brings together creators, publishers, and audiences interested in the book as an art form. This edition of the event will begin on May 22, 2026 and run until May 24, 2026, with the open call for exhibitors continuing until 20 April 2026.

Ujazdowski Castle Centre for Contemporary Art is one of the most important cultural institutions in Poland, with a rich interdisciplinary programme of exhibitions, performance, music, film, educational activities and publishing. The book is a significant part of the institution’s programme—not only as a vehicle for artistic expression, but also as a distinct and evolving field of design.

The first edition of Nobody Reads This in 2025 marked the opening of a new art bookshop: the only space of its kind in Warsaw devoted exclusively to artists’ books. Since then, it has grown into a hub for launches, conversations and encounters. Around these initiatives, a vibrant community of publishing practitioners is steadily emerging. The second edition of the fair continues this momentum, extending its reach internationally and reaffirming Warsaw’s role as a meeting point for artists and publishers from across Europe.

The success of the inaugural edition, alongside the strong interest in its continuation, made it clear that this is a project with lasting resonance. This year, Nobody Reads This expands to a three-day programme. Set within the castle courtyard, the fair will bring together exhibitors presenting a wide range of publications.

Publishers are now invited to become part of this growing platform. Applications are open until 20 April 2026 to publishing houses and individual practitioners working with artists’ books, zines and experimental publishing formats. It is an opportunity not only to share your work with an engaged audience, but also to forge new connections and take part in a dynamic, international art book community.
