Apply to the 56th Midsummer Festival of the Arts hosted by the John Michael Kohler Arts Center in Sheboygan, Wisconsin. Every year, this outdoor event welcomes more than 15,000 visitors for the free, two-day festival. This year’s festivities happen July 18 & 19, 2026.

Midsummer Festival of the Arts features over 100 juried artists—including returning award winners from last year—offering original works of art in a wide variety of categories, including ceramics, painting, photography, metal, fiber, watercolor, wood, jewelry, and others. Attendees also enjoy free art making, live entertainment, demonstrations, and an extensive array of food trucks. Indoor art exhibitions are also on view inside the Arts Center.

Artists receive food vouchers, complimentary booth-sitting, and overnight security. Winners receive cash prizes and a guaranteed invite for 2027.

Applications are due March 3.
