Application deadline: January 8, 2024
The call for visual arts projects for the tenth edition of PERSPEKTIVE is open until January 8, 2024.
Launched in 2014, the PERSPEKTIVE fund is a project co-organized by the Bureau for visula arts/Institut français Germany and the Goethe-Institut. It seeks to support the development of collaborative and transnational artistic initiatives between French and German art scenes as well as stimulate dialogue between European partners. The fund offers cultural institutions and arts professionals the opportunity to pool their skills and inspiring ideas in order to bring innovative, original, and ambitious projects to life.
Project proposals can take the form of exhibitions, both in situ and touring, as well as conferences, symposia and workshops. Live artistic events such as festivals, performances or other mediation work, initiated by artists or cultural players, are also invited to apply.
During its first nine editions from 2015 to 2023, 43 projects involving over 610 partners have been supported by the PERSPEKTIVE fund.
Cultural and artistic structures (museums, art centers, Kunsthalle, Kunstverein etc.) as well as theorists, critics and independent curators, both established and emerging, living in France or Germany, are invited to propose projects to run from February to December 2024, to be selected by a jury of professionals.
The Bureau for visual arts team is available to provide additional information on the application or funding requirements and looks forward to receiving proposal submissions for PERSPEKTIVE 2024.
