Kia ora tātou, it is time for ground-breaking live art, installation, social sculpture, and incredible hybrid performance practices. The Performance Arcade is looking for works to present in their fourteenth annual presentation on Wellington Waterfront. Founded in 2011, The Performance Arcade is a free, award-winning festival of live art, music and performance on the Wellington Waterfront experienced by 60,000-90,000 visitors each year. Open directly to the bustling life of the Wellington Waterfront, our iconic shipping containers are sites of engagement - bringing world class art and performance to the public outside the constraints of a gallery or theatre.
