Film, Video and Digital Production Guidelines Now Available
The applications are open and guidelines are now available for Jerome Foundation’s Film, Video and Digital Production grant programs for early career film, video and digital production directors who work in the experimental, narrative, animation or documentary genres, or a combination of these forms. These programs provide grants to individual filmmakers to support specific projects, both short and full-length, for production.
The New York City Film, Video and Digital Production Grant provides up to $30,000 to support specific projects for all stages of production, including pre-production, production and post-production costs.
The Minnesota Film, Video and Digital Production Grant provides up to $30,000 to support specific projects for all stages of production, including pre-production, production and post-production costs.
The Minnesota Film, Video and Artist Development Grant provides up to $7,000 to support self-designed mentorship with experienced directors and further their filmmaking craft and/or professional skills while working on a specific film, video or digital production project.
The Production Grants have been newly expanded to cover all stages of production, including pre-production costs and the Minnesota Artist Development Grant is a new grant program.
All programs do not fund retroactively: only costs incurred after the grant is awarded and a grant contract is signed will be supported. The awards do not require matching funds.
Applications are due April 21 by 4 pm Central/5 pm Eastern Time.
