Call for artists, The Vote Project, deadline Sept. 27

THE VOTE PROJECT
In the weeks leading up to what may be the most important election of our lifetime, New York Live Arts is partnering with For Freedoms’ 2020 Awakening campaign to commission four New York based BIPOC artists to create a VOTE installation for the Ford Foundation Live Gallery. The artists will be selected through an open call, each receiving a fee of $1,000 (all inclusive) and will be responsible for one of the four letters of VOTE. The submissions will be selected by a panel of art world luminaries which include Thelma Golden, Jenny Holzer, Bob Faust, Nick Cave, Glenn Ligon, Robert Longo, Andrea Rosen, and Bjorn Amelan.
