A juried exhibition featuring discarded materials and trash transformed into works of art. Artists, use what you can!
Open Call for Art submission deadline
Sunday, December 8, 2019
Theme
The Doom and Bloom art show is a juried exhibition highlighting the crisis of trash on earth and how artists can have a positive impact on the environment through the partnership of art and recycling. Artists are challenged to create dynamic, inventive, and provocative work created from a multitude of materials that would have been otherwise discarded if not rescued for art-making. We are seeking art that has been created from discards and trash. At least 80% of the materials incorporated into the art should be materials which would otherwise be trash, but are now saved from the landfill!
