Overview: No Longer Empty is seeking a Development & Executive Coordinator to join the core team in a lean, active office. This individual will work directly with the Executive Director. The Development & Executive Coordinator is responsible for providing administration support to the Executive Director and involvement with fundraising and external donor, grant and foundation communications. As a core team member, the Director of Education works closely with other No Longer Empty staff to develop the organization’s growth and strategic planning.
Executive Coordinator duties include:
Schedule management, including all appointments, meetings and conference calls
Prepare agendas and assemble meeting materials, reserve and prepare facilities
Expense management and invoicing on a monthly basis
Budget coordination, to present periodic updates to Board on status of spend
Preparation of agendas for team meetings
Filing and management of all department work leave requests
Provide general administrative support including sending and tracking packages, filing, scanning, copying, faxing, distributing mail
Provide basic project management support for HR initiatives
Provide administrative support and assist in managing the calendar, files, phone and appointments for HR leadership
Development Coordinator duties include:
Provide support for all philanthropic and engagement events
General Support in grant writing and supplemental materials
Cultivation support
Donor tracking and management
PowerPoint and Excel document management
Completes a broad variety of fundraising tasks including: supports agency fundraising activities through managing the donor database including processing contributions, producing reports and mailing lists, and preparing acknowledgement letters
Coordinates planning and logistics of special events as needed
Conducts research on prospective donors
Prepares print collateral for donor meetings
Assists with agency communications efforts including basic graphic design, photography, social media posting, and website updates
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent
1-3 years of prior relevant work experience
Advanced computer skills: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook,
Well-developed written and verbal presentation skills with a high awareness of current events and trends affecting public opinion
Strong organizational skills
High attention to detail
Ability to multi-task
Enthusiastic about generating interest in public art and social practice initiatives
Capable of independent research around grant opportunities
Able to simultaneously manage multiple projects with varying timelines
Extremely professional and flexible and willing to connect with different types of people and perspectives
Creative and articulate
Ability to independently generate compelling social media and other content
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team structure
Database management experience – Salesforce a plus
Copy editing experience
This is a full time position with benefits. Salary commensurate with experience.

Part Time Position / Reports to: Executive Director

Overview: No Longer Empty is seeking a Director of Education to join the core team in a lean, active office. This individual will work directly with the Executive Director. The Director of Education leads, plans, and manages No Longer Empty´s education initiatives with a focus on its teen and family programs. As a core team member, the Director of Education works closely with other No Longer Empty staff to develop the organization’s growth and strategic planning.
Responsibilities:
Collaborate with No Longer Empty staff and guest curators and artists (when applicable) as well as local educational organizations to develop multi-disciplinary programs that contribute to the design and implementation of No Longer Empty’s teen and family programs that target intergenerational, city-wide audiences
Serve as the leading member of the education team, bringing expertise in working with teens and families, to contribute to the visioning and planning of overall institution growth, outward facing communication, and internal development
Develop and oversee partnerships with other nonprofits and educational partners, including schools, arts organizations and teaching artists, to connect with local programs and build reciprocal capacity
Develop and manage the education department’s budgets, both inter-departmental and programmatic, and assist fundraising for same
Develop content for grants, maintain budgets, write reports, and track key performance indicators
Create and manage photographic, video and anecdotal documentation of education programs for archival and marketing purposes
Develop NLE teaching practices and manage the hiring, on-boarding and training of staff, interns, and educators
Develop and manage implementation of education annual plan and calendar
Develop, refine and assess NLE´s curriculum and learning resources to ensure program quality and impact through multigenerational learning opportunities and professional development
Oversee the implementation, assessment, and growth of NLE programs including but not limited to ART ZONE: Community and Data Lab, Young Exhibition Makers, Youth Action Council, The Workroom (family art making workshops) and No Longer Empty After School & Beyond
Represent No Longer Empty in relevant professional activities including conferences and group meetings to maintain an awareness of current practices and issues in museum education, art education, education, youth development
Qualifications:
At least 3 years of teaching experience (wide range of artistic mediums and students)
Minimum of 2 years of classroom teaching experience in public or private schools
Degree in Fine Art, Art Education, K-12 Certification or advanced degree in Art Administration or Studio Art
Above par interpersonal, communication and emotional intelligence skills
Excellent conflict resolution skills
Excellent classroom management skills and behavioral management skills
Demonstrated leadership and management skills
Experience in team leadership: Accountability, goal-setting, meeting deadlines and enhancing team moral
Excellent writing skills
Experience with curriculum development
This is a part time position (30 hours per week) with benefits and the potential to become full time. Salary commensurate with experience.
