Franc Palaia is announcing a new outdoor sculpture show in Poughkeepsie, NY at the Vassar College Farm entitled *"Art on the Farm". July 1- Oct 29, 2017.* This is an open call for outdoor sculpture and the jurors are: *Franc Palaia*, artist and independent curator of the 4th Wilderstein Outdoor Sculpture Biennial exhibit, *Jeff Johnson,* artist, adjunct lecturer SUNY- New Paltz and *Ursula Morgan*, Coordinator of Exhibits and Programs, Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, SUNY New Paltz, NY.
*Location*: The Poughkeepsie Farm Project is located on 15 acres of Vassar Farm The CSA is a non-profit working chemical free farm. Poughkeepsie is located on the Hudson river 75 miles north of NYC
*Schedule:* The exhibition runs from *July 1 - Oct 29, 2017.* The opening reception is *Saturday, July 1 from 2-7pm.*

*Early June*: acceptance notification by email
*Installations*: Between June 20--30.
*Opening reception*: July 1, 2-7pm
*Take Down*: Removal of work by appt bwtween Oct 30- Nov 7th. 9am - 5pm daily.
*Entry fee*: $30. for up to three entries and $5. for every extra submission. Please include two views of every entry if important, describe the size, weight, materials or any special attention for the work. Also include if the piece is for sale and the price. Vassar Farm will hold a 10% commission on each sale. The sculptures should withstand 4 months of the outdoor elements. A stipend of $30. will be given to each accepted artist to defray travel and/or installation expenses.
