Do you have a vision to change the world? Become a Halcyon Fellow!
We are launching applications for the seventh cohort of Halcyon Incubator and the inaugural cohort of Halcyon Arts Lab. Halcyon provides the catalytic support and skills that emerging artists and social entrepreneurs need to achieve their goals and scale new and ambitious projects.
Halcyon believes that the creative process for artists and social entrepreneurs share the same DNA. Our programs help imagine a world in which innovators in both fields are recognized for their potential, and brilliant new solutions to complex 21st century problems are tested, adopted and scaled for the benefit of all.
Halcyon Arts Lab is a nine-month fellowship at the intersection of art and social engagement that supports emerging artists with bold ideas of how art and creativity can be forces for social impact.
The Halcyon Arts Lab application is now open for artists of any discipline. During the 9-month program, fellows will have access to individual studios on campus to concentrate on independent learning and creative practice, residential accommodation (for non-DC residents), mentorship, a materials scholarship for living expenses and materials, professional development services, and a curriculum of classes and discussions on everything from contract negotiations to social justice issues.
Halcyon Arts Lab will accept six national or international fellows and two DC-based artists.

Today, the application for Halcyon Incubator also goes live for its seventh cohort. Halcyon Incubator, one of the nation’s premier incubators, equips early-stage social entrepreneurs with the support they need to transform audacious ideas into scalable and sustainable ventures, and change the world.
During Halcyon Incubator’s 18-month fellowship, a diverse cohort of fellows receives free residency and workspace, mentorship and leadership coaching, robust support from business consultants, and a living stipend to develop their entrepreneurial vision into reality. During their tenure, fellows further build their networks, work to secure funding, and grow their venture.
