LAST DAY, FIRST DAY seeks submissions, deadline Jan. 20

LAST DAY, FIRST DAY proposes Presidential letter-writing as a reflexive and political act.

1. Write a letter to President Obama on his last day in office.

2. Write a letter to President Elect Trump on his first day in office.

3. Send your letters to LAST DAY, FIRST DAY (and if inclined, The White House).

4. Letters collected until Inauguration Day, at which point they’ll be self-publshed into a 2-volume artist book.

Letters, in all formats, styles, and tones, are welcome from any person of any worldview, anywhere in the world. Submissions can be anonymous. Letters can be emailed to lastdayfirstday2017@gmail.com or sent by post (reach out to email for address). To be accepted, you must write both letters.
