From March 2–5, 2017, The Armory Show will return to Piers 92 & 94 in Midtown Manhattan, marking its 23rd year as New York's leading show for modern and contemporary art and a definitive cultural destination.
The Armory Show will implement a number of exciting developments for the 2017 edition. Among the changes, Piers 92 & 94 will merge into a singular fair for both 20th and 21st century artworks with new and expanded exhibitor sections and programming throughout.
The Armory Show is now accepting applications to: Galleries, Insights, Presents and Platform. Applications will be reviewed and selected by The Armory Show's Selection Committees and the auxiliary Presents Advisory Panel, which will advise on applications to the Presents section.
Galleries
Established modern and contemporary galleries present outstanding 20th and 21st century artworks.
Insights
Leading international galleries feature solo-artist, dual-artist or thematic exhibitions that spotlight 20th century masterworks alongside artistic rediscoveries.
Presents
This section provides a platform for emerging galleries no more than ten years old to showcase new work through solo- and dual-artist presentations.
Platform
Participating galleries realize large-scale artworks, installations and performances that respond to and activate the expansive industrial spaces of Piers 92 & 94. Platform is organized by an appointed curator.
