Great opportunity for students and recent grads to gain hands-on experience
in arts publishing. Positions available immediately.
•X-TRA Contemporary Art Quarterly and Project X are seeking individuals to
help with day-to-day operations and special projects. Assist a nonprofit
art journal and publsiher with social media, website updates, research and
procurment of image rights, event support, copy editing, mailing
preparations, and more. Internships are tailored to skills and interests of

Placement Qualifications and Eligibility:
Ideal candidates are engaged with and/or studying contemporary art,
enthusiastic, well organized, and have good public relations skills.
Lifting up to 40 pounds is required occasionally. Applicants should be
computer literate on Mac platform and proficient in MS Office, knowledge of
Adobe Creative Suite and basic html are a plus.
Interns are asked to commit 8 hours a week (in 1-2 days per week) for 3-5
months. The X-TRA/Project X office is northeast Los Angeles, near Atwater
VIillage. Schedule and hours are flexible.
