INTERNATIONAL CALL FOR PHOTOGRAPHERS
'Listen to the silence' - Signal Festival - Cagliari, Italy

SIGNAL Festival - X edition - will be held at Lazzaretto of Cagliari from 29.10 to 07.11.2015.

WHAT IS SIGNAL

SIGNAL is avant-garde music, experimentation, improvisation, electronics. Through the cross-disciplinary and multimedia approach we will investigate, this year, the theme of Silence.

'Sound', 'silence' and 'noise' are the categories that reshape SIGNAL' spaces, to create soundscapes in which the expressiveness of silence is enhanced by sound vibrations.
The cross media is the base of SIGNAL, where each performance (dance, music, video, theater and installations) is permeable and contaminated.

SIGNAL is the place where artists meet and connect, in a path of mutual meaning exchange.

SIGNAL X will cooperate with human right associations.

Through the call, we want to find a meaningful image to be used for all communication and promotion need of this upcoming edition. We are looking for a picture that stimulates reflection, something with an high-impact style, and suitable for an experimental music Festival.

Who can attend:
Photographers of all ages and nationalities, without distinction.

Projects:
Photography - any subject, style and technique.

Fee:
200 Euros.

Selection (deadline 31.08.2015):
The theme of SIGNAL X is silence, in all its forms. The photographers who want to apply must send the following material:

• 1 to 3 pictures
• PDF file including:
o title and caption pictures
o short CV

The materials must be submitted within the 31.08.2015 at: info@signalfestival.org

Applying for the call, winner agree that the picture should be used for any communication and promotional need of SIGNAL.
