Thematic residency: Truth Lies Lore
Faculty: Kay Burns, Janieta Eyre
Program dates: November 2–December 11, 2015
Apply by May 27
Thematic residencies offer a structured program where artists are brought together to investigate a specific theme. We invite all mediums of visual arts practice to apply, including curators, architects and designers.
Truth Lies Lore is a residency that offers a platform for playful reinterpretation and fabrication of "truths" as a tool for disrupting established conventions. Whether through enacting alternative personas or inventing new realities through objects, artifacts, narrative, installation, photography, painting, and technology, artists will explore the mutable space between truth, lies, and lore.
