Creatives Exchange Trip
Arts and Culture Experience -
June 13-20, 2015

The Creatives Exchange trip is designed for arts and culture workers (Arts Administrators, Producers, Curators, and beyond) in their early-mid career who are interested in cultural exchange, collaborating internationally, and expanding their network. No prior China experience is necessary, just bring an open mind and a keen interest in learning more about what is developing in one of the most dynamic and interesting art scenes on the planet!

Participants will have the chance to experience Chinese culture, food, and most importantly the arts, with a unique opportunity to go beyond the typical tourist vacation. While in Beijing, we will visit arts and cultural organizations, both large and small, engage with local counterparts, and learn about administrative structure and programming priorities. Because China Arts will also host a forum where we will share what is happening at our organizations, as a lens for understanding trends the arts in Los Angeles as a whole, with our peers in Beijing. Of course, we will also visit significant historic and cultural sites like the Forbidden City and the Great Wall.
