Arts Orange County, in partnership with El Centro Cultural de México, will
present the 4th annual Día del Niño/Day of the Child (DDN) family arts
festival on Sunday, April 26 at Birch Park in Santa Ana, Orange County.
*Organizations and artists are invited to submit proposals to participate
in Día del Niño. *
Opportunities to participate include: - Conducting a workshop on the day of
the festival (open to ALL art forms); Conducting workshops before the
festival which culminate in the presentation of work on the day of the
festival; Conducting workshops after the festival to provide festival
participants with an extended opportunity to deepen their engagement in and
understanding of the arts; Performing on stage during the festival; Hosting
a resource booth; Any combination of the above

ABOUT THE PROGRAM: Día del Niño’s purpose is to connect the Santa Ana
community with creative community partners and artists through highly
engaging arts experiences. Participants will celebrate the message that
children have important rights which include being given opportunities to
develop their natural creativity. This year's theme is "Planting Seeds For
Our Future" / “Sembrando semillas para nuestro futuro.”
ABOUT THE PRESENTERS: Arts Orange County is the non-profit arts council
serving the County of Orange. It is the leader in building appreciation of,
participation in, and support for the arts and arts education throughout
Orange County. El Centro Cultural de Mexico is an alternative space in
Santa Ana where the community can find cultural, educational, and artistic
activities that strengthen their identities, develop their talents and
develop a sense of leadership in their community.
