Seeking surreal artists-writers

OPEN CALL, NY artist/writers: I am curating a second year of "Mind-Roaming
Journeys: Surreal Performances with Projection, Text and Voice" and I'm
inviting you to participate if you have a surreal piece.

Last year the event was at Tribes, with 5 artist-writers. This will be 5-10
artist-writers at Bowery Poetry Club (now called Bowery Art and Science), on
Monday evening, Sept 9, 7pm, each participant 5-10 mins.

Take a look at the program from last year, and FB MESSAGE me with a blurb
and image like those in that program, which describes what you'd do (in in
exactly that description length and form, with jpg 72dpi, 600px on largest
side as a .jpg attachment in the FB message.)

Include your email address and phone number. No questions, please.

There is no deadline, but I'll have the program pretty much resolved by Aug
28, so send me your things asap. And you can suggest other artist-writers to
me, if you wish. And/or you may use text and/or images by artists/writers
other than yourself.

Please keep in mind, however, that I am really looking for SURREAL text and
projection, not just readings, and -- especially -- no reading of ANY OTHER
theme.

Feel free, however, to collaborate with another individual if one of you
writes and one of you creates projection-images (these can be moving DVDs or
sequenced, and the audio or text can be on the same DVD while your physical
person is engaged otherwise on stage or with the audience. Please don't
message with questions; assume that all directions are exact, and that if
you weren't asked not to do something, any interpretation you give these
directions is fine.

There is no charge to answer this open call. As for payment TO you, Bowery
Poetry must meet a guarantee from the $10 ticket price, and after that and
any expenses, the proceeds will be divided among the participants.
