The City of Cassano d'Adda presents for the year 2013, the second edition of 'Ecoismi' a contemporary art event that takes place in the Natural Park of the Island Borromeo.
As already in 2012, the theme of 'Ecoismi 2013' is the combination of man and nature.
The exhibition includes the construction of 12 (twelve) site-specific works in complete harmony with the area of the Park. 'Ecoismi 2013' wants to be a meeting point between contemporary culture and the deep roots of the territory. The works will be able to create a natural and osmosis between art and the environment, culture and local identity and will have an aesthetic-cognitive value, in relation to the processes and changes that affect the environment and present condition, to trigger a reflection on the ecological dynamics and sustainable.
The island of Borromeo Cassano d'Adda is a wonderful piece of land between the river Adda and the Muzza canal, park and natural area. Come to life for the summer months hosting the best works of young artists, selected by a panel of experts.
