The Taller Portobelo Norte Summer Art Colony is now accepting project
proposals
for its three week residency program in Portobelo, Panama.

Geared towards Students, Emerging and Professional Artists and Scholars
interested in the arts and cultures of the African Diaspora, Ethnographic
and Anthropological Research, Spanish and Latin American Studies, and
responsible and ethical tourism, this years Art Colony will take place from
June 30th to July 21st in the bayside town of Portobelo in Panama.

The 2013 Summer Art Colony is open to project proposals from Emerging and
Professional Visual, Literary and Musical Artists and Scholars and
Researchers.

Summer Art Colony participants are selected by a distinguished panel of
judges based on their dedication to their art/scholarly practice,
innovation, and craftsmanship. TPN encourages both collaborative and
independent projects with the Portobelo community as ways to create a
positive multicultural artistic exchange.
