CollectLA is excited to announce our first art fair and we want YOU to be involved!!
CollectLA is a great new concept. Run by artists and for artists, it is a first rate art fair where approximately 350 independent artists will show and sell their work to the public en masse. We will rent the venue, market the show, publicize the artists, get the crowd, and set up the booths so that you can display your artwork in a hip setting, grow your mailing list, have opportunities for press coverage, connect with new collectors, sell some art, and make some money.
Being artists ourselves (Toban Nichols & Erin Kellgren Temple) we know that talented artists need more exhibition opportunities and ways to get their art out into the world. You will get the chance to connect with buyers, to show a significant amount of your work in a great venue, and control how your work is displayed and discussed.
As for our buyers and emerging art collectors, we realize that typically they don't know where to go to get quality affordable art. CollectLA will make great and affordable art easily accessible to them. We promise our collectors that all the art at our show will be priced under $2,500 with half of that work being under $1,000. We cut out the galleries so that you can make more money and your buyers can get great deals on fantastic art. What we are creating is a win-win for artists and art buyers. Application fee $25, if accepted booth fee is $550 and can be split with another artist.
The show takes place February 16 & 17, 2013 in the California Market Center's Penthouse suite in downtown Los Angeles, CA.
