The Museum of Latin American Art (MOLAA) located in Long Beach, CA seeks an energetic, goal-oriented Membership Manager. Under the supervision of the AVP of Corporate Relations and Major Gifts, the Membership Manager is responsible for managing MOLAA's comprehensive membership program including the solicitation and retention of members from Basic ($60) to Director Circle ($1,000). The Membership Manager will develop upgrade strategies to grow all levels of giving and lead member renewal, upgrade and acquisition efforts using traditional and innovative fundraising methods. The ideal candidate will function as a highly involved member of MOLAA's fast moving development team and will lead the membership fundraising efforts.
MOLAA founded in 1996 is the only museum in the United States that exclusively features contemporary Latin American visual arts. MOLAA's mission is to educate the public through the collection, preservation, presentation and interpretation of modern and contemporary Latin American art in order to promote cross-cultural dialogue.
The successful candidate will possess a Bachelors Degree, a minimum of 3 years experience in membership or in a fundraising capacity. The candidate must have experience with direct mail and telemarketing efforts and must be proficient in Raiser's Edge or a similar program.
