AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

The Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles (IFFLA) is seeking to fill the
following positions for the Sponsorship team in anticipation of the
10thAnniversary Festival in April 2012.

We are looking for detail oriented team players with previous sponsorship
and nonprofit experience.

Director of Sponsorship

- Manage the sponsorship team.
- Manage annual sponsorship goal.
- Oversee corporate, media and in kind sponsorship, grants, and patron
program.
- Liaise with the Sponsorship Coordinator in setting up meetings and
conference calls with the sponsorship department, and develop meeting
agendas.
- Conduct research to identify sponsor prospects.
- Approach prospects via email, phone, fax, mail and one-on one meetings.
- Work on and develop proposals to be sent to sponsors.
- Close deals and ensure that sponsors’ benefits and expectations are
met.
- Ensure proper sponsor cultivation during the festival.

Sponsorship Coordinator

- Manage and maintain the sponsorship database.- Familiarity with
SalesForce is a plus.
- Coordinate weekly calls/meetings with Sponsorship department, prepare
agenda and distribute meeting notes.
- Coordinate communication with sponsors to make sure deliverables are
met.
- Updating database and preparing sponsor benefit checklist for various
departments.
- Assist with proposals, agreements and invoices as needed.
- Manage sponsor will call at opening and closing night galas during
festival.
- Support the sponsorship department I all sponsorship activities as they
arise.

In-Kind Coordinator

- Contact potential sponsors for in-kind product or service donations for
the festival's galas, and VIP gift bags, festival merchandise, award
certificates and liquor..
- Submit customized proposals for in-kind donations and coordinate
agreements.
- Ensure all sponsors receive promised benefits.
- Work with the Sponsorship and Special Events departments in
coordinating the stuffing of gift bags.
