ARC Grants Program - 2nd Quarter Deadline on May 3rd at 6pm & New Funding Opportunity for L.A. Artists
The Second Quarter 2011 Deadline for the ARC Grants Program (Artists' Resource for Completion) is coming up on Tuesday, May 3rd, 2011 by 6pm.
ARC grants provide rapid, short-term assistance to individual artists residing in Los Angeles County who wish to enhance work for a specific, imminent opportunity that may significantly benefit their careers. Artists in any discipline are eligible to apply. The applicant must already have secured an invitation from an established arts organization to present the proposed work. The start date must be scheduled for presentation within six months of the application deadline: for the Second Quarter deadline, the presentation start date must fall between June 15, 2011 and November 3, 2011.
Second Quarter applications must be submitted by 6pm on May 3rd, 2011.

New Funding Opportunity for Los Angeles Artists: The Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists
The Six Points Fellowship for Emerging Jewish Artists is now accepting applications from Los Angeles artists. The Fellowship will support nine Los Angeles artists (ages 22-38) working in visual arts, music, performing arts, film, video and animation to develop a new project exploring Jewish themes and ideas.
