Be Part of the Silver Lake Jubilee's New Theater Village!

The Silver Lake Jubilee is the awesome, grassroots street fair that showcases the unique artistic character and culture of the Silver Lake community and surrounding neighborhoods. Taking place on May 21st and 22nd, this year's Jubilee will feature a new Theater Village comprised of an exciting interactive theatrical creation called INSTA-GROW THEATER. A collaboration of various theater artists and companies who produce work in the Silver Lake and surrounding areas, INSTA-GROW THEATER, will allow street fair visitors to step into the roles of actors, playwrights and designers and create live, on-the-spot theater!

Currently, we are looking for more companies and individual theater artists to take part in the planning and organization of the village. If you are a company or an individual who lives or produces theater in the greater Silver Lake (Echo Park, Atwater Village, Downtown, Hollywood, etc.) who would like to be part of an exciting, theatrical creation please e-mail slcoop74@gmail.com

This is a great opportunity to engage with fellow local artists while sharing the excitement of creating live theater with the communities we live in.

Note: At this time we are mostly looking for Producer/Organizer types -- we will be looking for actors, writers and other artists as we move closer to the event.
