ASSOCIATE DIRECTOR
Ace Gallery, an internationally-recognized art gallery specializing in art from
the 1960's to the present, is seeking a highly motivated, educated and
organized individual to assist in sales and the management of our galleries.
The ideal candidate will be responsible for:
o Conducting art sales
o Upholding public relations with collectors, museum professionals,
media contacts, artists and the general public including being the
direct liaison with public relations regarding current and upcoming
exhibitions
o Managing all gallery operations
o Research projects and assisting with organizing exhibitions,
including writing for press, etc.
o Providing general administrative support
Requirements:
o BA in Art History (or equivalent experience), MA preferred
o Five years experience in a gallery required
o Extensive knowledge of contemporary art, including the local,
national and international art community
o Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication
o Proficiency with Mac computer
Salary commensurate with experience.
