Bronx Museum of the Arts seeks international community based art projects (deadline February 28)

Bronx Museum of the Arts launches smART Power program to send U.S. artists
abroad to create community-based art projects. Applications accepted through February 28!

The Bronx Museum of the Arts has proudly launched the smARTpower program.
smARTpower will send fifteen U.S. artists abroad to work with local artists
and young people around the world to create community-based art projects.
The objective of smARTpower is to support the U.S. Department of State's
Bureau of Educational and Cultural Affairs mission to increase mutual
understanding between the peoples of the United States and other countries,
emphasizing shared social and cultural values. The program will showcase the
role of visual artists as vibrant, engaged, and innovative partners in
addressing broader social issues important to communities worldwide. The
