SUPPORT CREATIVE PROJECTS
"camera on a string" is just what it sounds like. It is a disposable camera tied to something - like a bench or a fence or a telephone pole - with a paper inviting people to take a picture. The cameras are (hopefully) collected at the end of the day and all of the magic they contain are shared with the world on the website. This is installation, intervention, social experiment, exploration of places and the people who occupy them, and all fun!
There is a Kickstarter campaign going on right now to put more cameras on strings out in the world. If we meet our $1,000 goal in pledges by 1:05am on October 20th, 2010, then the project is funded and we add at least one new camera to the site each week for a year! Take a look and help out if you like it!
