We are contacting you about the casting for a Radio Play we are doing at
A.I.R.
We need help in finding actors.
Attached (and pasted) is a casting call with description of the four
characters we are searching for -but because much of the work is vocal we
are open to different types if they feel they have a take on the roles.

Adjusted by Addition (working title) is a new hybrid: Installation/Radio
Play. While in residence at AIR, Lovett/Codagnone will create an original
installation which is the set for the world premiere of a radio play they
will create collaboratively with playwright Tom Cole. Every other Monday,
in February March and April, a ten minute segment will broadcast on AIR. In
May, the residency will culminate in a 60 minute live performance when the
installation will become the set for Adjusted by Addition.

EARL (narrator): Male, 55 to 75 yrs old, William Burroughs type, eccentric,
intense but very dignified.

VIOLET (woman): Female, 38 to 48 yrs old, a Diamanda Galas or Patti Smith
type, a hardened woman, strong features almost masculine. Could have a
German accent but not necessary.

FOREST (androgynous): Male or female, 20 to 30 yrs old, a street urchin,
very androgynous, he/she's stylish and unique but not trendy , with an alien
quality about him/her.

WILLIAM (everyman): Male. 30 to 45 yrs. Everyman, government clerk, the
straight man to the other characters, but underneath his plainness he could
hide a secret, a double life.

10 rehearsals, 6 pre-recorded radio performances, 10 minutes each every two
weeks from mid-February to end of April, final live performance that
comprises all the 10 min. episodes beginning of May (exact dates TBD).
There will be a fee paid to all cast.

All ethnic backgrounds are welcome.
