AMP: Artists' Meeting Place and Resource Collective

Documentary filmmakers worldwide are invited to participate in the fourth Aljazeera International Documentary Film Festival, which will be held in April 2010 in Doha, Qatar. Deadline to submit works: January 1, 2010.

The competition is open to all TV channels (Arab & non-Arab), production companies, independent filmmakers and cultural, social and media organizations.

Submitted films must have been produced within the previous two years. A participant may only have one entry in each category (short, medium or long). Participating films should either be in Arabic or English. Films in another language should be translated, dubbed, or subtitled into either language.

Winners will receive an Aljazeera Golden Award for each of the winning films in three categories (long, medium, short), in addition to a cash prize to the film's director and more.
