The ArtSlant Juried Showcase competitions are designed to exhibit and promote talented artists from around the world.

>How do I enter?

Fill out your entry: Go to your ArtSlant Profile. If enrollment has opened, you will have an >enter showcase link in the CHANGE box on the right. Click on the link to complete your entry and select your work. Once enrollment is complete, your work will appear under ART on our main menu in the Showcase Entries section.

>What are the stages for each competition?

STAGE 1 Entry Phase: Approved entries will be displayed in the ARTshow for 2-3 weeks. Art buyers and enthusiasts from around the world will have a chance to watch and comment as new entries are submitted daily. A one-time entry fee applies.

STAGE 2 Showcase Winners: At the end of our entry period, Showcase Winners will be selected by our curation team based upon quality of artwork and artist's Profile display. Premier placement in the Showcase box will begin and winning designation will appear on Artist's Profile. Premier placement fee will apply. Please note that if you have previously been a Showcase Winner and that work is still in the Premium placement program, then you will have two works simultaneously on display in the Premier placement program should you win a second competition. You will be charged a fee for each one. You have the option of removing the earlier winner from Premium placement by going to your Showcase Account from your Profile page. And after the new Winner has been in premium display for one month, you have the option of removing it.

STAGE 3 Juried Winners: A jury of international gallerists will select a small group of artists (6-10) for our Juried Winners awards. Juried Winners receive special placement in the Showcase and are eligible for the Golden Frame competition, which will take place in March 2010.

>What does it cost?

There is a low entry fee and a premium display fee for Showcase Winners only. Fees vary. When you go the Showcase Entry section of your Profile page, the prices will be displayed before you decide to enter.

> WHAT ARE THE PRIZES?

There will be over $20,000 in cash and promotion.

Showcase Winners: Will be exhibited in the Showcase premium placement box and be promoted to thousands of art watchers and buyers. Award designation will appear on the Artist Profile

Juried Winners: Receive special display in our Showcase and on our homepage. Winners will be presented to all Artslant subscribers throughout the ARTslant Views e-publication. Juried Winners go into the Golden Frame competition in March 2010.

Golden Frame Competition: A final panel of gallerists and curators will select three Golden Frame winners from all Juried Winners.
