Donlavy Dance Company is calling for any couples to submit picture/video highlights of your marriage; wedding or civil unions.

Examples of such submissions could be the exchange of vows, the wedding march, signing the marriage license, registering for domestic partnership, preparing for the ceremony the day of and even the slicing of the cake. Different affections of love and committment are also welcome.

Donlavy Dance Company is set to present its full evening length dance-opera, "SIR." "SIR" is about love and gay marriage. Set 25 years in the future, we follow a young gay man as he struggles with identity, coming out and finally being the role rodel his parents wanted. Things have changed in the year 2036 as diseases like Cancer and AIDS have disappeared and Gay Marriage is now Legal.

The Donlavy Dance Company will use your video/picture footage with permission as video projection ran throughout the show, sometimes behind the live dancer and sometimes just by itself. We want to send a strong message that love and marriage is necessary and deserving of everybody. We are hoping to unite our efforts much like marriage equality in California (MECA). This is a small step. Anonymous submissions are accepted. No names need me mentioned but are encouraged. Your personal union together will support the show's theme.

Video submissions should be no more than 30 seconds long. Pictures should be in jpeg format. This is not an audtion but a call to duty!

Couples selected and added to "SIR" will be able to purchase tickets at a discounted rate.
