Photographers from all over the world can now submit photos to a campaign intended to raise awareness of the many successes of the development process. The campaign intends to counterbalance the frequently shown images of desolation and despair, and is accepting submissions until October 1.
THe United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) Global Photography Campaign will feature a permanent photo gallery at the International Policy Center for Inclusive Growth (IPC-IG) office in Brazil and open for public visitation. Series of photo exhibitions will also be organized in several cities around the world.
Anyone can contribute a photograph: professional and non-professional photographers, students, civil society activists, government officials, UN staff members and so forth.
