Entries are now being accepted for the Palos Verdes Art Center's 2009 Juried
All-Media Exhibition. The entry deadline is Friday, June 19, 2009.

Artists can enter up to five pieces in any medium, including drawing,
painting, photography, mixed media, sculpture, ceramics and video, for a
single $10 administrative fee. Entries must be submitted as digital images
in a size suitable for print reproduction. A prospectus containing the

The exhibition features $2,900 in awards, including a $1,000 first prize.
This year's juror is Christy Johnson, director of the American Museum of
Ceramic Art.

The actual exhibition will be from August 21 through September 26, 2009, at
the Palos Verdes Art Center, 5504 W. Crestridge Rd., Rancho Palos Verdes,
CA, 90275. An opening reception and awards ceremony will be from 5 ­ 8 p.m.
Friday, August 21. Regular gallery hours are 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Mondays through
Saturdays and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
